Message from Rev. Ben Kong

Dear QHC, as we turn the page from April to May, I am reminded of the saying “April showers bring May flowers.” Indeed, we have experienced a deluge of fear and trepidation from the effects of the Coronavirus. Family, friends and countless unknown faces have lost their lives or their health.

As we enter a new month, we desire to bloom new life and vitality. Our governor is considering reopening our local economy in the upcoming weeks. Let us remember to lift up the government, the frontline essential workers, and all of us as we return to some form of normalcy

My prayer is that God has strengthen our faith through this ordeal and that we would be equipped to live a life worthy of his calling as Sons and Daughters of the Almighty. May I remind all of us that in spite of what has happened, God is good.  Please take care and hope to see you all sooner rather than later!

Faith Hope Love
