If there is one thing that you want ‘changed’ in 2023, what would that be?

This past Sunday, we talked about the significance of the Christmas story to living life as the best of us.  I said that the indubitably important and yet aggravating Christmas lights are a great metaphor for the stress that we encounter during one of the most joyous occasions (at least supposed to be) of the year.  In light of the “love/hate” thing going on with the Christmas lights, we’d like for you to wrestle with the following question in preparation for our New Year’s Day Sunday service:

If there is one thing that you want ‘changed’ that would make the biggest difference for you in 2023, what would that be?

Happy New Year!

  1. Wow! To be honest, I’ve never seen this one. It’s an original. Looking forward to uncovering what may be keeping you back – including the memories themselves!

  2. I traveled with my family during the Christmas break, while vacation is fun but traveling can be very stressful, I’m learning how to better cope with stressful situations. In 2023, I’m hoping to get more wisdom about stress!

    • Thank you for your comment! This is actually one of the most sought after “changes” each year – how to manage stress and anxiety. One of the keys to doing this is to understand that stress and anxiety are actually normal parts of life. What we want to go after is the stress and anxiety that are debilitating. Discerning between the two is a good start. Looking forward to tackling this together!
