Abba’s Heart Scripture:
Psalms 106:32-39
Isaiah 48:12-50:11
Ephesians 4:17-32
Proverbs 24:5-6
Meditate:
Psalms 106:32-39
Isaiah 48:12-50:11
Ephesians 4:17-32
Proverbs 24:5-6
Meditate:
- The plan of salvation is for everyone to know that He is Lord. “That I, the Lord, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” (Isaiah 49:26) Everything that happens will lead to His name be glorified.
- Are we putting on the new man and using this guidepost to choose how we behave? Or are we still wearing the corrupt old self to continue our days with deceitful lusts? Are we holding onto the old and would not let go? Abba, renew our spirit of minds. Guide us in all decisions, no matter how big or small, to the road that is in obedience to Holy Spirit’s voice so that the Lord’s name is lifted.

Abba’s Heart Scripture:
Psalms 106:40-48
Isaiah 51:1-53:12
Ephesians 5:1-33
Proverbs 24:7
Meditate:
Psalms 106:40-48
Isaiah 51:1-53:12
Ephesians 5:1-33
Proverbs 24:7
Meditate:
- Our ransom was paid in full on the cross by Jesus who was despised and rejected by men. (Isaiah 53) Isn’t it a wonder why Jesus was willing to go through with this humiliating process for the transgressors? Was there no other way that He could have saved us? Has He negotiated with Abba to have an easier way? We don’t have answers to these, but one thing we know is that “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him” (Isaiah 53:10), and Jesus poured out His soul unto death to fulfill Abba’s will.
- Paul admonishes us to be imitators of God as dear children (Ephesians 5:1) and be wise to understand what the will of the Lord is. How do we live out (as an individual/family/church) to be imitators of God when we are in a difficult situation that does not seem to make any sense?
- Jesus, thank you for saving us and being the ultimate example of understanding God’s will. Abba, forgive us for always wanting to escape when we know we need to pay a price (specially a hefty price). Teach us to understand your will and give us the courage to choose the supernatural way to overcome. May your body always choose your way.

Abba’s Heart Scripture:
Psalms 107:1-9
Isaiah 54:1-57:13
Ephesians 6:1-24
Proverbs 24:8
Meditate:
Psalms 107:1-9
Isaiah 54:1-57:13
Ephesians 6:1-24
Proverbs 24:8
Meditate:
- The world is full of confusion, disasters, violence, injustice, oppression, monstrosities, and the list goes on. We incline to find out the responsible parties to hold them accountable. We blame our government leaders on what’s happening in our society; we blame our parents on how we turned out; we blame our spouse on what has gone wrong in the family. The beings created in God’s image become the targets of attacks.
- However, Paul reminds us that we are wrestling against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12). And our way to fight these is to take up the whole armor of God so that we are able to withstand in the evil day and to stand. (Eph 6:13)
- Dear Father, forgive us for letting our differences become a wall in relationships and viewing your children as our enemies. Instead of fighting with your armor against the spiritual hosts of wickedness, we fight against our family, friends and neighbors. We pray for the QHC family to put on the truth, righteousness, gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the word of God to pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. May you restore the broken relationships for your Kingdom to advance.

Day37
Day37
Abba’s Heart Scripture:
Psalms 107:10-16
Isaiah 57:14-59:21
Philippians 1:1-26
Proverbs 24:9-10
Meditate:
Psalms 107:10-16
Isaiah 57:14-59:21
Philippians 1:1-26
Proverbs 24:9-10
Meditate:
- The hungry, the poor and the naked are usually despised because of their vulnerability. However, the Lord told us what pleases Him – to share our bread with the hungry, to bring to your house the poor who are cast out, to cover the naked. (Isaiah 59:7)
- Can you imagine for a second what would happen if an outcast (a poor, a homeless, a drug addict) comes into QHC today? They fall short from the society’s expectations of what would be deemed as acceptable and respectable. What would likely be our reaction as a body of Christ? Are we afraid? Are we keeping a distance? Are we looking down on them? Or are we embracing them with the love of Christ?
- Our heavenly Father’s heart is always for His children to return to Him. When those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death cry out, He saved them out of their distresses. (Psalm 107:10-14). The Lord’s hand is not shortened to save (Isaiah 59:1). The salvation is not just for you and me but for ALL His children.
- Abba, expand our territory to not just care for people who are in an “acceptable” social status but to reach up and down, left and right to witness your truth, your might and your power for all to know you are God. Help QHC’s light break forth like the morning. Help us truly be your hands and feet to feed your sheep.

Day 38
Abba’s Heart Scripture:
Psalms 107:17-22
Isaiah 60:1-62:5
Philippians 1:27-2:18
Proverbs 24:11-12
Meditate:
Psalms 107:17-22
Isaiah 60:1-62:5
Philippians 1:27-2:18
Proverbs 24:11-12
Meditate:
- Paul’s teaching for us to see others better than oneself is in total contradiction to the social teaching that we need to be the best, the smartest, the fastest, and the strongest. The world expects us to be competitive, and in order to progress, we need to outdo each other.
- When we see ourselves better than others, complaints, criticism, despise, gossips will flow freely from our mouths. At times, we even think we are smarter than God. Such fools! Pride nurtures self-interests, desires and thus leads to division.
- Is QHC a unified body? What are the areas where we fall short? Does QHC’s environment create a competition mindset?
- Abba, we pray that your light points us to our conducts where they are not worthy of the gospel of Christ. Convict each one of us to follow Jesus’ example to humble ourselves so that we grow smaller and you grow bigger. Pray that all QHC attendees are known as Jesus’ followers.

Day 39
Abba’s Heart Scripture:
Psalms 107:23-32
Isaiah 62:6-65:25
Philippians 2:19-3:4
Proverbs 24:13-14
Meditate:
Psalms 107:23-32
Isaiah 62:6-65:25
Philippians 2:19-3:4
Proverbs 24:13-14
Meditate:
- Don’t we all want to be in the new heavens and new earth? What a beautiful picture of the blessings for His servants! Joy will take place of weeping, days will be fulfilled until old age, labor will produce results, and even the wolf and the lamb will feed together. How awesome is it? (Isaiah 65)
- However, are we only seeking His benefits and not God Himself? Have we retreated when it comes time for us to bear the cost? What is the upper limit that we are willing to offer for the work of Christ? Epaphroditus, Paul’s brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, came close to death for the work of Christ. The Lord does not ask for everyone to put up their lives, but let’s take a moment to reflect on whether there is a cap on the cost that we are willing to bear for the gospel.
- Is QHC restraining from advancing His kingdom because we stopped short at the boundary to stay within what makes us comfortable? Am I serving the Lord with a great reserve for self-preservation?
- Abba, stretch our limits. Take us beyond the four walls.

Meditate:
Psalms 107:33-43

Proverbs 24:15-16
Meditate:
- “… Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14) As we conclude our 40-day fasting and praying, we enter into a new chapter. As Paul admonishes us to reach forward to those things which are ahead, we ask the Lord to give us a brand new slate to step into this new season.
- Abba, please come and lay your healing hand on all the hurts and wounds that we have accumulated. We want to be able to unload all the burdens that we have been carrying so that we can all begin with joy and praises in this new phase. Abba, we ask for your forgiveness as we were holding grudges to those who have hurt us, and we were not willing to forgive. Father, as you forgive us today, we also release forgiveness. As your watchmen/watch women, we need to have a clear mind, soul and spirit to observe and blow the trumpet. Let not our scars, bleeding wounds be the distraction. Abba, give us the courage and wisdom to reach out to initiate the restoration of any broken relationships.
- Jesus, wash us with your precious blood. Only your blood can cover all our sins and shame. We confess our transgressions and lay them at the foot of the cross. Only your blood can make us white again. Clothe us with your righteousness. Establish us firmly as your children. We are loved by you and we will love others with your mercy and kindness.
- Holy Spirit, guide us on the road of sanctification. Convict us when we are at a juncture to choose eternal life or destruction. Lead us to go to the gardens as we sanctify ourselves and purify ourselves. (Isaiah 66:17)
- We praise your name Lord. You are our Father, and we are your children. Glorify yourself in us, QHC, Fresh Meadows, the U.S. and the whole word. It shall be that all nations and tongues are gathered, and everyone shall come and see Your glory. (Isaiah 66:18)
Please pray for the future direction of the church, for yourself and your family. Please write down how God has touched you!
