- In Psalms today, God temporarily allowed Joseph to go through a difficult period so that he could take on greater responsibilities in the future and be used by God to save God’s loved ones (James’ whole family). In the trials given to us by God today, are we giving up so quickly that we also lose the opportunity to be used by Him and to see His glory with our own eyes? (Psalms 105: 16-22)
- When God disciplines and trains us, He also promises to give us enough guidance, but have we given up waiting for God so quickly that we also lost His grace and blessings that were originally prepared for us? (Isaiah 30: 18-21)
- May we return to the practice of fearing God, drawing close to God, revering and obeying God’s words today, thus freeing us from confusion, loss of direction, and fear of helplessness. The Bible encourages us: “He will the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.” (Isaiah 33:6)
Let us persevere and never give up! |

- God has proven in the history of mankind that under any circumstances, He will not forsake and will bring salvation to those who He has promised (Psalms 105:23-36)
- But if people want to walk with God in this journey of salvation, we also must do our parts:
- Replace our inner fears with the truth of the Bible, make our life decisions in accordance with God’s words, and live out our Christian life every day (Isaiah 35:4-8)
- Be guided by the Holy Spirit to lead a life of loving one another and bearing the fruit of the Spirit, instead of attacking each other and falling into the temptation of lust (Galatians 5:16-26)
- Today, are we always questioning when God will save me, but forgetting that in our lives, God has already asked me to strive hard in doing my part?

- We are often unwilling to accept the identity that God has given us (Psalms 105:37; 40; 43):
- God said that the new life I received was strong, but I often told myself that I was still weak.
- God said that I was made abundant by Him, but I told myself that I was lacking.
- God told me that I can be happy because of Him, but I deliberately chose to focus on my own emotions.
- When I don’t believe in God says who I am, I will not be willing to commune with God the Father through the Holy Spirit every day. I will also lose all the ability, provision, and abundance that God had originally prepared for us. Because of this, we always feel powerless to do things that please God.
- Are you willing to believe what God says, and thus be able to receive through the Holy Spirit every day the power that belongs to the children of God to do good? Today’s Bible encourages us in this way: “Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6: 8-9)

- In the spiritual tradition of the C&MA, a deeper spiritual life (Deeper Life) is greatly emphasized, as described by Isaiah today, as a God given life that is strong and does not grow weary (Isaiah 40:28-31)
- Another spiritual tradition of the Alliance is to strive to fulfill God’s Great Commission, as Isaiah describes today, to live a life of “bringing good news” (Isaiah 40:9).
- But we often lead an unbalanced life. We long for a deeper spiritual life, a more mature soul, to know more about God, and to experience God’s presence, but we often only focus on our own benefits.
- Another imbalance in our lives is that we want to do many things for God, but because many of our characters are unchristlike, the more I serve, the more I hurt myself and others, and bring shame to the name of God.
- Please pray for QHC that we will be filled with a group of Christians who pursue a deeper spiritual life and are also committed to the Great Commission.

- The first effect of the gospel in our lives is to get rid of the hostility between us and God (Ephesians 2:15-16)
- The most natural manifestation of a person who has the gospel in his heart:
- Make peace with others and let go of grievances (Ephesians 2:15)
- Preach the gospel of peace to those around him (Ephesians 2:17)
- If we cannot practice this gospel of reconciliation in our lives, it will be difficult for God to use us to participate in the work of reconciling people to God.
- Pray for all the brothers and sisters in QHC, that we can first be set free through reconciliation with others, so that the gospel we preach will be full of power. The house of God will thus be built (Ephesians 2:19-22).

- Today’s Bible reminds us what kind of God our God is:
- He is a king who is willing to be responsible for us (Isaiah 43:15)
- He is the God who is willing to blot out our transgressions (Isaiah 43:25)
- He is the God who is willing to pour water on the thirsty and fill us with the Holy Spirit (Isaiah 44:3)
- His hand of salvation has not ceased since the first day of creation of the world to the present (Isaiah 44:6-7)
- Our God has never changed. In the past, He let those who have fallen away to return and allowed those who are indifferent to once again love the true God. In the same way, God the Father continues today to do the same work on the people who belong to Him: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19)
- Do you hope in your heart to see this happening in our time? We can love God regardless of cost, and we can do immeasurably more than we are able for the Great Commission! Let us begin with worship, confession, and obedience. God will strengthen us according to His promise: “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, … Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:16- 20)
In this time and age, devoted worshippers are needed! Workers who are filled with the love of Christ and who are willing to obey and give are needed! |

- Satan wants us to come to church and only care about how hard others are trying to make us happy. But the Bible today says that when we come to the church, we must use the renewed life God gave us, with the same characters as Jesus, to try our best to preserve the spirit of harmony and unity (Ephesians 4:2-4).
- Satan wants us to come to church, and only care about how others give and serve me. But the Bible today says that when we come to the church, we must use the gifts God has given us to serve those around us and build up the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12).
- And if a person is focused on how to live like Jesus, how to maintain the unity of the church, and to give and serve the people around him, Paul calls this kind of life a mature life (Ephesians 4:13).
- Today, am I upset to only see that other people are mistreating me, counting the mistakes of others, and even thinking that others are not worthy of me to give and serve? It is possible that I have mistakenly thought that I have grown up, but in fact, I am still a spiritual baby.
- May God bless you. Do your best to preserve the unity given by the Holy Spirit and make good use of the gifts God has given you, so we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself in love, as each part does its work. (Ephesians 4:15-16).
